Breaking Vases

Another fine night at Cholmondley's. Anna and I basically got paid to dance our brains out at the Surfing Club's Beach Party.

Our very own surf club! http://www.clickthecity.com/img2/articles/CTC-1854-image4.jpg

I mean of course there was some cleaning, food serving, and money-counting thrown in as well...oh and picking up after the friken guy who JUMPED OVER THE BAR ONTO THE COUNTER AND THEN FELL ONTO THE FLOOR (Alissa can also attest to this)!!!!!! Simultaneously breaking our vase thing and turning on the grill!

Not our vase, but a similar scene! (Though ours was more broken because he crushed it too...) http://www.sph.umich.edu/apihealth/2006/broken%20vase.jpg

He apologized profusely, but I just don't understand WHY he decided that was a good idea in the first place! He could've gotten hurt! WTF?! Well anyways, the night was great. We decorated our timesheet folder with jungle & underwater scenes and wrote a lot in the Chums blog. I even had one of those "how to keep an idiot busy" moments. Anna and I were updating the blog in permanent marker, so some of it seeped through to the page in front of it, blocking what people had written in pen. So I turned it over and wrote "SORRY! about the permanent marker-->". Then I flip back and realize that had gone through the other page. So I write "SORRY! about the permanent marker-->". I of course wasn't doing this seriously, but it was funny at the time and we laughed in our inebriated state, knowing it could go on forever if we so choosed. We also held a funeral for the vase that broke--drawing a picture of it as well, before noticing that the vase we drew and mourned was actually sitting on the table by the door. oops. HP also stopped by and we had a great time--she was quite silly and flattering.
Well, busy day tomorrow/this week/I should've done more work today, so gotta get some rest (and wait to see if HP's getting back anytime soon...)!
